Help is an Ask Away

One of the hardest yet best things I’ve learned through my journey with child loss is that when you don’t know how to do something, ask for help.

There is help available for just about anything you can imagine.

Seriously.

It doesn’t make you weak. I’ll say that again for the people in the back: I does NOT make you weak.

In fact, very thought of someone being viewed as weak for asking for help enrages me! It is a huge reason why our world is so jacked up!

I do NOT know how to live my life without my son.

I do NOT know how to maneuver life after child loss.

I do NOT know how to help a grieving child who has fears that take him over.

I do NOT know these things because this is not how life is supposed to be.

Since this is my life, I will continue to surrender and get any and all help available to me.

Talk to a friend.

Join a support group.

Find a therapist.

Please.

Just get the help if you need it. You are NOT weak.

You are VERY STRONG.
