Ivan’s Grief-Related Anxiety

There are a few videos where I look at Ivan’s challenges with anxiety, grieving, and starting new activities. Ivan has is own journey and we’re trying to figure out how to love and support him as well.

I am a wife, mom, recent surrogate and now an angel mom. I am a fierce advocate for both childhood cancer research and children's grief. I am the founder of Love Like Jackson and we provide resources to families who have experienced child loss. I also fundraise for St. Baldrick's. We have established a "Hero Fund" called "Team Jackson" and the funds we raise go towards Osteosarcoma research.

Thank you soo much Carrie. I really appreciate that you are sharing all of your very real journey. It really encourages me and I love your frankness and how you are pushing back darkness still as you grieve. Not that you have to but its just very brave and beautiful. HUGS.

I think that’s so right when you said, I’m just gonna give myself grace.”
Yes, yes and yes. I think even our bodies can’t keep up with our grief and we definitely tire out faster with the load and injuries it inflicts and puts upon our bodies for repair, maintenance and recharging. And I totally thank God, that we, (in all our range of emotions) are so loved and understood by Him. Again, I have deep respect for you and thank you for sharing.
